Steve Guchi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Putu Aswin made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecep Kaban in the 5th minute of play forced PSM Hoinawai's goalkeeper Putu Aswin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ade Wijaya charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ade Wijaya the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Jernih booed when PSM Hoinawai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ade Wijaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Steve Guchi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Steve Guchi in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Putu Aswin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jernih's Sipiongot Wijaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gendo Alexander in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute Gendo Alexander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sipiongot Wijaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Jernih was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dede Sinambela to maneuver through the defense. Sipiongot Wijaya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kompos Panjaitan's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Jernih's Steve Guchi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Putu Aswin. Putu Aswin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Putu Aswin acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 26th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jakob Sinuraya. PSM Hoinawai's Kompos Panjaitan got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kompos Panjaitan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sipiongot Wijaya having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, PSM Hoinawai's Gendo Alexander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sipiongot Wijaya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute Kompos Panjaitan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sipiongot Wijaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gendo Alexander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Steve Guchi to make the kick off. Steve Guchi took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Putu Aswin. Putu Aswin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Joshua Sinuraya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sipiongot Wijaya having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Jernih's zone, Kompos Panjaitan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sipiongot Wijaya came out of the goal and Kompos Panjaitan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sipiongot Wijaya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gendo Alexander in the 64th minute. Kompos Panjaitan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gendo Alexander was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. PSM Hoinawai's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 74 played minutes PSM Hoinawai got a freekick which was hit by Ade Wijaya. After a rather tough play, Jernih's Dede Sinambela got a free kick in the 76th minute. Kompos Panjaitan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Putu Aswin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Guchi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PSM Hoinawai's Gendo Alexander got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gendo Alexander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sipiongot Wijaya having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kompos Panjaitan in the 95th minute of play forced Jernih's goalkeeper Sipiongot Wijaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Putu Mainaky came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Jernih fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Putu Mainaky couldn't finish the play. Gendo Alexander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sipiongot Wijaya having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Jernih had won after a very even match.
