Haikal Sarwanto charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haikal Sarwanto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bersekutu Bertambah Mutu's Haikal Sarwanto got a free kick in the 14th minute. Tono Akmal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Porman Bangun in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Wahyu Karo-karo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Mario Alexander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 21 minutes, Sigit Arbi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bersekutu Bertambah Mutu and the Andamui players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sigit Arbi hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Pandapotan Ginting's late challenge caught a Bersekutu Bertambah Mutu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pandapotan Ginting helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Andamui getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Pandapotan Ginting hit a great ball. Bersekutu Bertambah Mutu's Sigit Arbi got his second yellow card of the match in the 26th minute. The referee ordered Sigit Arbi off the ground. Sigit Arbi kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes, Andamui's Hastomo Barus shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mario Alexander came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Andamui reached it. A collision led to Bersekutu Bertambah Mutu getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Porman Bangun hit a great ball. Mario Alexander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wahyu Karo-karo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Firdaus Panjaitan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Tono Akmal made a huge save. Andamui's Pandapotan Ginting got his second yellow card of the match in the 35th minute. The referee ordered Pandapotan Ginting off the ground. A collision led to Andamui getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Pandapotan Ginting hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Firdaus Panjaitan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bersekutu Bertambah Mutu's supporters rose to their feet, but Firdaus Panjaitan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tono Akmal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andamui's Tono Akmal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Andamui from getting a goal against them. Firdaus Panjaitan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Putu Perangin-angin was the one to do the kick off. Bersekutu Bertambah Mutu's Mario Alexander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Bersekutu Bertambah Mutu from getting a goal against them. Putu Perangin-angin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Putu Perangin-angin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mario Alexander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bersekutu Bertambah Mutu's zone, Putu Perangin-angin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Alexander came out of the goal and Putu Perangin-angin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Andamui eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
