The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sigit Kooth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonard Chaniago's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Sinabayuga FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Legokkaso:s goal. Hastomo Prima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Budi Budikusuma having to interfere. A hard shot 18 in the game by Firdaus Sinuraya from a close distance when the talented Sigit Kooth managed to make a qualified save. Sinabayuga FC's players were relieved. In the 20th minute Hastomo Prima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Budi Budikusuma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hastomo Prima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
