Kompos Waluyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Bento Panjaitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Donnie Dermawan managed to get in a good position for a shot. PSS Daerahsaruh's supporters rose to their feet, but Donnie Dermawan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joshua Hans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joshua Hans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steve Mainaky, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Donnie Dermawan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Joshua Hans when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Joshua Hans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donnie Dermawan in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Kompos Waluyo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bento Panjaitan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, PSS Daerahsaruh's Fery Reza got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Romi Haryanto-Ie scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bento Panjaitan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute, Steve Mainaky hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 played minutes PSS Daerahsaruh got a freekick which was hit by Ricky Haryanto-Ie. In the 32nd minute, Reynaldo Chaniago sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and PSS Daerahsaruh's Bento Panjaitan didn't even have to move. Joshua Hans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donnie Dermawan in the 35th minute. PSS Daerahsaruh's Ricky Haryanto-Ie suffered a sore thigh after 35 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Bento Sugendo fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Takar FC's protests and gave Bento Sugendo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Takar FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Bento Sugendo hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Takar FC's goalkeeper Joshua Hans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boy Budiarto. Donnie Dermawan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kompos Waluyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bento Panjaitan having to interfere. Romi Haryanto-Ie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bento Panjaitan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kompos Waluyo in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Takar FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romi Haryanto-Ie made a kick off. Takar FC's Romi Haryanto-Ie got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Takar FC booed when PSS Daerahsaruh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steve Mainaky didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kompos Waluyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
