Alan Priyatno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andre Ramadhonna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paijo Mulia in the 13th minute of the match. Paijo Mulia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Andre Ramadhonna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Andra Sitepu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kawiri FC's Tiar Dewa got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andre Ramadhonna came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Kawiri FC's Kompos Barus. But to his dismay, Kompos Barus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Rukua's zone, Kompos Barus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andre Ramadhonna came out of the goal and Kompos Barus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 31st minute of the match Alan Priyatno completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alan Priyatno a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Rukua booed when Kawiri FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Priyatno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rukua's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ade Haryanto-Ie in the 34th minute. Paijo Mulia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andre Ramadhonna having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Paijo Mulia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andre Ramadhonna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steve Sitorus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Andre Ramadhonna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Nasum Sinuraya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferry Sitepu to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Kawiri FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ferry Sitepu came free, but Jatuh Panjaitan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Rukua's Andre Ramadhonna got control of the ball when Paijo Mulia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paijo Mulia struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Andre Ramadhonna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kawiri FC. Paijo Mulia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Andre Ramadhonna made a huge save. Jatuh Panjaitan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferry Sitepu in the 70th minute of play. When Sigit Budiarto came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Rukua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sigit Budiarto couldn't finish the play. Kawiri FC's Paijo Mulia got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rukua's Andre Ramadhonna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Rukua from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Kawiri FC's Kompos Barus slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andre Ramadhonna. That made the score 0-2 after 93 minutes of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kawiri FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
