Hardy Panjaitan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, Karanglo FC's goalkeeper Henry Wibowo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joshua Suprianto. Kompos Budiarto kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Haikal Putiray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Henry Wibowo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in PSM Serumi's zone, Dian Chaniago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hardy Panjaitan came out of the goal and Dian Chaniago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute Candra Ridliwan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hardy Panjaitan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes Karanglo FC got a freekick which was hit by Rabun Eiboy. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Pandapotan Sinulingga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Karanglo FC's zone, Joshua Suprianto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Wibowo came out of the goal and Joshua Suprianto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th match minute, Karanglo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jojo Darwis to maneuver through the defense. Karanglo FC's Henry Wibowo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joshua Suprianto in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to PSM Serumi getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Porman Subagdja hit a great ball. Joshua Suprianto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Wibowo having to interfere. If Haikal Putiray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind PSM Serumi's goalkeeper Hardy Panjaitan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, PSM Serumi's goal looked a bit too open when Dian Chaniago came free, but Hardy Panjaitan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Karanglo FC booed when PSM Serumi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruslan Sugendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Karanglo FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
