Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kitam Cahyono Putro made the kick off and thus started the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Steve Hans during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Balapulang booed when PSP Tjiluluk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steve Hans didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Hans in the 15th minute of play forced Balapulang's goalkeeper Leonard Ginting to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Balapulang's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Hans came free, but Leonard Ginting reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonard Ginting took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Micky Dewa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Steve Hans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the game, Micky Simamora was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PSP Tjiluluk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balapulang the free kick. In the 26th match minute, PSP Tjiluluk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Micky Simamora to maneuver through the defense. Sipiongot Romatua was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Kitam Cahyono Putro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kitam Cahyono Putro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Micky Dewa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Ginting having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Steve Hans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leonard Ginting was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rochy Barus. Haryanto Kusumah took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sipiongot Romatua. PSP Tjiluluk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Leonard Ginting came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by PSP Tjiluluk's Micky Dewa. But to his dismay, Micky Dewa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigit Ramadhonna in the 64th minute of play forced PSP Tjiluluk's goalkeeper Sipiongot Romatua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Micky Dewa came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leonard Ginting could save by the left post. Sipiongot Romatua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kitam Cahyono Putro in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to Balapulang getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Dewa Haryanto-Ie hit a great ball. Micky Dewa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Leonard Ginting made a huge save. If Micky Dewa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 88 minutes, Steve Hans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PSP Tjiluluk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steve Hans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Steve Hans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Leonard Ginting tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Micky Dewa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of PSP Tjiluluk's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. PSP Tjiluluk may have spent more time on the ball, but Balapulang were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
