But to his dismay, Martin Sitepu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Martin Sitepu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 9 minutes, Kompos Akmal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciperang and the the cricks players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kompos Akmal kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Fery Subagdja who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Kitam Martin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ade Barus might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pandapotan Ketaren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ade Barus ran back to his position shaking his head. 18 minutes into the match, Martin Sitepu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of the cricks's Pandapotan Ketaren. Pandapotan Ketaren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kitam Martin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 26th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. 30 minutes into the game, Jojo Romatua was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. the cricks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ciperang the free kick. A collision led to the cricks getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Jojo Romatua hit a great ball. After the first half Ciperang were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Jojo Romatua hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferry Haryanto-Ie during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to the cricks getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ferry Haryanto-Ie hit a great ball. Ade Baruss short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Pandapotan Ketaren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 65th minute, Martin Sitepu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fery Subagdja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the game, one of Ciperang:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave the cricks a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jojo Romatua, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ciperang's Kitam Martin. 2-2. In the 79th minute of the match Mahadi Dermawan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pandapotan Ketaren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gendo Chaniago in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kitam Martin saved Ciperang from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fery Subagdja in the 94th minute of play forced Ciperang's goalkeeper Kitam Martin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Sitepu in the 99th minute of play forced the cricks's goalkeeper Pandapotan Ketaren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
