Kia Budiarto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lumira's Bongky Kooth got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fery Barus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zulfikri Panjaitan in the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Lumira's Bongky Kooth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fery Barus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to Parimau FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Fadhly Rai hit a great ball. If Kompos Kusumah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lumira fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! The audience was convinced that Kompos Kusumah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paijo Piliang was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Zulfikri Panjaitan hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Lumira's Paijo Piliang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Widodo Sarwanto in the 41st minute of play. Parimau FC's Kompos Kusumah got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Lumira's zone, Widodo Sarwanto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paijo Piliang came out of the goal and Widodo Sarwanto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kompos Kusumah to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andre Priyatno during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes Parimau FC got a freekick which was hit by Andre Priyatno. If Zulfikri Panjaitan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bongky Kooth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fery Barus having to interfere. Bongky Kooth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Fery Barus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paijo Piliang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kompos Kusumah, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 72nd minute Kompos Kusumah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paijo Piliang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bongky Kooth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferry Subagdja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fery Barus having to interfere. When Ferry Subagdja fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lumira's protests and gave Ferry Subagdja a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lumira getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Ferry Subagdja hit a great ball. After 80 played minutes, Parimau FC's Jatuh Yarman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paijo Piliang came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Parimau FC reached it. When Kompos Kusumah came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Parimau FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kompos Kusumah couldn't finish the play. Wahyu Sitepu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bongky Kooth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fery Barus having to interfere. Putu Yarman kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
