The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ferry Subagdja hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Djati Sarwanto struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Paijo Piliang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panasoan FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zulfikri Panjaitan in the 9th minute of play forced Panasoan FC's goalkeeper Firdaus Barus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paijo Piliang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dian Tarigan in the 11th minute of the match. Bongky Kooth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Firdaus Barus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bongky Kooth's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Zulfikri Panjaitan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Firdaus Barus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bongky Kooth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paijo Piliang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dian Tarigan in the 32nd minute of play. Djati Sarwanto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 35 minutes into the match, Lumira's goalkeeper Paijo Piliang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Djati Sarwanto. Bongky Kooth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Firdaus Barus having to interfere. If Bongky Kooth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zulfikri Panjaitan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Firdaus Barus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zulfikri Panjaitan made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daus Wibowo during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Daus Wibowo hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Bongky Kooth struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Firdaus Barus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lumira. Lumira's Zulfikri Panjaitan got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iswadi Simanungkalit kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Djati Sarwanto hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Paijo Piliang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Djati Sarwanto in the 71st minute of play. If Djati Sarwanto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Firdaus Barus was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zulfikri Panjaitan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 78 minute of play. Paijo Piliang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dian Tarigan in the 81st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Zulfikri Panjaitan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Firdaus Barus was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. If Bongky Kooth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Firdaus Barus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zulfikri Panjaitan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daus Wibowo was shown his second yellow card after 97 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lumira had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
