Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ade Budiarto started the match with the kick off. After 5 minutes Sokapung's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yahya Alexander who took care of the corner kick. Manchester United F.C.'s Yahya Alexander was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bulek Ridliwan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Boy Romatua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kia Akmal, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Ade Budiarto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bulek Ridliwan having to interfere. After having played for 20 minutes, Budi Putiray managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Budi Putiray was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 20 played minutes, Manchester United F.C.'s Haikal Sinulingga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bulek Ridliwan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Manchester United F.C. reached it. 23 minutes into the game, Rochy Aswin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sokapung's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manchester United F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Sokapung getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Rochy Aswin hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Sokapung defense, Budi Putiray kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bulek Ridliwan. The Sokapung fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bulek Ridliwan should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Sokapung's zone, Ade Budiarto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bulek Ridliwan came out of the goal and Ade Budiarto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boy Romatua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kia Akmal in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sokapung's zone, Ade Budiarto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bulek Ridliwan came out of the goal and Ade Budiarto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ade Budiarto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bulek Ridliwan having to interfere. The supporters of Manchester United F.C. booed when Sokapung was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Sitorus didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Manchester United F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Kia Akmal made the kick off in the second half. If Ade Budiarto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manchester United F.C.'s Boy Romatua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kia Akmal in the 58th minute of play. Ade Budiarto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bulek Ridliwan having to make a save. Boy Romatua came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Sokapung's Kia Akmal. But to his dismay, Kia Akmal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a little luck, Sokapung's Bulek Ridliwan got control of the ball when Ade Budiarto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bulek Ridliwan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ade Budiarto in the 80th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Yahya Alexander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manchester United F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Yahya Alexander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bulek Ridliwan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Budi Putiray struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Bulek Ridliwan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester United F.C.. Boy Romatua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paijo Simanungkalit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paijo Simanungkalit in the 89th minute of play forced Manchester United F.C.'s goalkeeper Boy Romatua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Manchester United F.C. booed when Sokapung was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gendo Suprianto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Budi Putiray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Yahya Alexander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
