Lelo Subagdja started the match with the kick off. Widodo Priyatno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gendo Priyatno having to make a save. 6 minutes into the match, Todua FC's Lelo Subagdja sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gendo Priyatno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Matoea FC booed when Todua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fery Putiray didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Matoea FC's goalkeeper Gendo Priyatno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Widodo Priyatno. After 13 played minutes Todua FC got a freekick which was hit by Fery Putiray. A collision led to Todua FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Putu Eiboy hit a great ball. Rochy Sarwanto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ade Haryanto-Ie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rochy Sarwanto, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 21 minutes, Fery Putiray mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Todua FC and the Matoea FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes Todua FC got a freekick which was hit by Fery Putiray. Fery Putiray was shown his second yellow card after 24 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Todua FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Fery Putiray hit a great ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Awalludin Dermawan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matoea FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Awalludin Dermawan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rochy Sarwanto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taufik Wijaya kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Awalludin Dermawan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matoea FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Awalludin Dermawan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ade Haryanto-Ie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th match minute, Todua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Putu Eiboy to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute Rochy Sarwanto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ade Haryanto-Ie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Awalludin Dermawan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rochy Sarwanto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ade Haryanto-Ie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Todua FC's Widodo Priyatno got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Todua FC's Gendo Ridliwan got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Ari Sugendo's late challenge caught a Todua FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ari Sugendo helped the player get up and apologised. Ari Sugendo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Rochy Sarwanto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Widodo Priyatno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Todua FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Widodo Priyatno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gendo Priyatno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 79 minutes into the match, Todua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Awalludin Dermawan came free, but Ade Haryanto-Ie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Matoea FC booed when Todua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iswadi Priyatno didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rochy Sarwanto came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Matoea FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rochy Sarwanto couldn't finish the play. Matoea FC's Rochy Sarwanto got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Todua FC's Widodo Priyatno got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Todua FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Matoea FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
