The Mangkutana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uum Pane should have stopped the shot. After 19 played minutes Mangkutana got a freekick which was hit by Fery Budikusuma. Rio Mulia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bulek Ridliwan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Uum Pane having to make a save. In the 28th minute, Tiar Sinulingga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 played minutes, PSP Datimun's Porman Reza shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Uum Pane came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Rio Muchtaji reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bongky Chaniago. The goal made the score 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bulek Ridliwan in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uum Pane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rio Mulia in the 46th minute of play forced Mangkutana's goalkeeper Uum Pane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mangkutana's Kia Sinuhaji got a free kick in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Ketaren to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in PSP Datimun's zone, Rio Muchtaji stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bongky Chaniago came out of the goal and Rio Muchtaji tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58thth minute of the game Rio Mulia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mangkutana's Uum Pane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Mario Ketaren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rio Mulia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the game, Firdaus Yarman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PSP Datimun's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mangkutana the free kick. After 68 played minutes PSP Datimun got a freekick which was hit by Firdaus Yarman. Rio Mulia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uum Pane having to interfere. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mangkutana's goalkeeper Uum Pane, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Bulek Ridliwan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute.
