Rio Wijaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Kusumah, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kompos Simanungkalit was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes of play Poeraoe's Bento Sitorus was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 55 played minutes Poeraoe got a freekick which was hit by Bento Sitorus. Rochy Perangin-angin struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Rio Wijaya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poeraoe. If Fery Simamora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
