Bento Sembiring recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kitam Wijaya hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Jatuh Sembiring received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Lelo Karo-karo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jatuh Sembiring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Salemah's goalkeeper Lelo Karo-karo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jatuh Sembiring's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lelo Karo-karo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After having played for 19 minutes, Jatuh Sembiring managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MaktabRendahSainsMara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jatuh Sembiring was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute Darius Sinuhaji shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andra Febrian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, MaktabRendahSainsMara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hendrawan Kooth to maneuver through the defense. Jatuh Sembiring sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bento Sembiring recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jatuh Sembiring struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Lelo Karo-karo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MaktabRendahSainsMara. 35 minutes into the match, MaktabRendahSainsMara's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Rai came free, but Andra Febrian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Reynaldo Rai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andra Febrian was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Reynaldo Rai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bongky Fitriansyah took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andra Febrian. MaktabRendahSainsMara's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Reynaldo Rai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Andra Febrian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darius Sinuhaji fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andra Febrian having to interfere. The MaktabRendahSainsMara players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Salemah were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bento Sembiring was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Elie Ramadhonna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Salemah's zone, Bento Sembiring stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lelo Karo-karo came out of the goal and Bento Sembiring tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bento Sembiring received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Lelo Karo-karo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lelo Karo-karo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Sembiring, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63 minutes, Hendrawan Kooth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MaktabRendahSainsMara and the Salemah players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute, Hendrawan Kooth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes in the game Taufik Simanungkalit got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. When Sipiongot Wibowo fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salemah's protests and gave Sipiongot Wibowo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Sipiongot Wibowo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heri Sarwanto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reynaldo Rai got free with Andra Febrian in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 81 minutes, Taufik Simanungkalit mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salemah and the MaktabRendahSainsMara players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Salemah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taufik Simanungkalit to maneuver through the defense. Hendrawan Kooth didn't quite understand what happened when in the 82 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. During the 83rd minute of the match Taufik Simanungkalit completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Taufik Simanungkalit a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Taufik Simanungkalit hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. If Heri Sarwanto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bento Sembiring took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lelo Karo-karo. Lelo Karo-karo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jatuh Sembiring scored 2-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lelo Karo-karo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Salemah's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
