Eboy Priyatno was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dewa Sipayung showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Ari Waluyo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eboy Priyatno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dukuhtengah FC's Widodo Muchtaji got a free kick in the 25th minute. Gendo Wibowo, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Ari Waluyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Dewa Sipayung managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sandada's supporters rose to their feet, but Dewa Sipayung was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eboy Priyatno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dian Budikusuma hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Alan Simanungkalit managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dukuhtengah FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alan Simanungkalit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romi Ramadhonna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romi Ramadhonna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dede Subagdja in the 35th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Daus Yarman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Dukuhtengah FC's Firdaus Pane tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dukuhtengah FC's Eboy Priyatno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Dukuhtengah FC from getting a goal against them. When Porman Ramadhonna fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dukuhtengah FC's protests and gave Porman Ramadhonna a yellow card for diving instead. Dewa Sipayung fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eboy Priyatno having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Dede Subagdja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Ari Waluyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eboy Priyatno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eboy Priyatno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daus Yarman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ari Waluyo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eboy Priyatno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Dewa Sipayung put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Eboy Priyatno. When Dukuhtengah FC's Alan Simanungkalit, in the 78th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Dukuhtengah FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Alan Simanungkalit managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dukuhtengah FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alan Simanungkalit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romi Ramadhonna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Simanungkalit, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Dukuhtengah FC's zone, Dewa Sipayung stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eboy Priyatno came out of the goal and Dewa Sipayung tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Sandada's Romi Ramadhonna got control of the ball when Dede Subagdja tried to sneak it across the goal line.
