The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Martin Prima made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robbie Ketaren in the 9th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Zulfikri Bangun kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martin Prima. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as PSP Sagaranten's Zulfikri Bangun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Martin Prima. That made the score 2-0 after 18 minutes of play. Martin Prima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zulfikri Bangun's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. PSP Pasarrebo's Martin Prima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save PSP Pasarrebo from getting a goal against them. Zulfikri Bangun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Prima having to interfere. Zulfikri Bangun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Martin Prima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Zulfikri Bangun fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 43 minutes, Robbie Ketaren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PSP Sagaranten's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robbie Ketaren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Candra Martin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Sinuhaji, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

PSP Pasarrebo were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after PSP Sagaranten's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tiar Simamora took the corner. If Robbie Ketaren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zulfikri Bangun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st match minute, PSP Pasarrebo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiar Simamora to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, PSP Sagaranten's Nasum Simanungkalit broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 65th minute, Zulfikri Bangun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 75 minutes, Robbie Ketaren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PSP Sagaranten and the PSP Pasarrebo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th match minute, PSP Sagaranten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robbie Ketaren to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to PSP Pasarrebo getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Daus Idris hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fery Akmal during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 85 played minutes PSP Pasarrebo got a freekick which was hit by Fery Akmal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Zulfikri Bangun managed to get in a good position for a shot. PSP Sagaranten's supporters rose to their feet, but Zulfikri Bangun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Prima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute Robbie Ketaren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Prima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daus Idris's late challenge caught a PSP Sagaranten's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daus Idris helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of PSP Sagaranten booed when PSP Pasarrebo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daus Idris didn't get a good kick on the ball. PSP Sagaranten walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
