Tatabau's supporters rose to their feet, but Zulfikri Simanungkalit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricky Ramadhonna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Tatabau players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Golden Phoenix FC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zulfikri Simanungkalit made a kick off. Ricky Ramadhonna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donny Sinuraya, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. A collision led to Golden Phoenix FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ichwan Darwis hit a great ball. Donny Sinuraya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bulek Simamora received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zulfikar Tarigan came out and tried to block the shot, but Bulek Simamora slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 74th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Joshua Guchi notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Tatabau's Zulfikar Tarigan. Zulfikar Tarigan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jakob Sarwanto scored 1-4 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricky Ramadhonna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The attack was good, but when Joshua Guchi in the 98th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Golden Phoenix FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
