Ruslan Oktavianus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dian Priyatno, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If Boy Sugendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruslan Oktavianus made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Boy Sugendo sent off a good shot on target. Boy Sugendo scored 1-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruslan Oktavianus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Romatua in the 33rd minute of play forced Sawojejar FC's goalkeeper Henry Ketaren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruslan Oktavianus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heri Arbi in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sawojejar FC's goalkeeper Henry Ketaren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Sawojejar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Donny Priyatno came free, but Henry Ketaren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steve Romatua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Ketaren having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steve Romatua in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henry Ketaren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Donny Priyatno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Henry Ketaren made a huge save. After a rather tough play, PSP Siboluton's Jojo Budikusuma got a free kick in the 59th minute. Donny Priyatno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute.
