Djati Bangun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darius Dewa in the 6th minute of play forced Tempursari FC's goalkeeper Awalludin Sitepu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Jatuh Muchtaji's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ichwan Oktavianus was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 11th minute, Djati Bangun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mergan FC's Porman Sipayung got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Darius Dewa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Awalludin Sitepu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darius Dewa in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Darius Dewa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Awalludin Sitepu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Porman Sipayung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jatuh Muchtaji sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Djati Bangun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ichwan Oktavianus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jatuh Febrian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jatuh Muchtaji received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ichwan Oktavianus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Tempursari FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mergan FC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jatuh Muchtaji to make the kick off. Darius Dewa struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Awalludin Sitepu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mergan FC. Darius Dewa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Awalludin Sitepu having to interfere. Ichwan Oktavianus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jatuh Muchtaji in the 58th minute of play. With a little luck, Tempursari FC's Awalludin Sitepu got control of the ball when Porman Sipayung tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 65 played minutes, Tempursari FC's Hendrawan Yarman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ichwan Oktavianus came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tempursari FC reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Jatuh Muchtaji managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tempursari FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jatuh Muchtaji was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ichwan Oktavianus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Djati Bangun in the 75th minute of play forced Mergan FC's goalkeeper Ichwan Oktavianus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 played minutes Mergan FC got a freekick which was hit by Micky Suprianto. 90 minutes into the match, Mergan FC's Micky Suprianto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Awalludin Sitepu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mergan FC! An unexpectedly hard shot by Jatuh Muchtaji in the 99th minute of play forced Mergan FC's goalkeeper Ichwan Oktavianus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Mergan FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mergan FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
