When Haryanto Sipayung came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Lawangguru FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haryanto Sipayung couldn't finish the play. Lelo Perangin-angin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yahya Sitepu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daus Darwis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fadhly Sipayung, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, Lawangguru FC's Kitam Hans got a free kick in the 11th minute. Lelo Perangin-angin came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Lawangguru FC's Yahya Sitepu. But to his dismay, Yahya Sitepu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Dewa Mainaky had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fadhly Sipayung in the 21st minute of play forced Lawangguru FC's goalkeeper Daus Darwis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, PSP Weltevreden's Paijo Dermawan got a free kick in the 38th minute. Paijo Dermawan hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Haryanto Sipayung was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haryanto Sipayung in the 52nd minute of play forced PSP Weltevreden's goalkeeper Lelo Perangin-angin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Budiarto in the 54th minute of play forced Lawangguru FC's goalkeeper Daus Darwis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th match minute, PSP Weltevreden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sipiongot Sipayung to maneuver through the defense. If Alan Budiarto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rabun Sipayung hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Alan Budiarto hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Daus Darwis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fadhly Sipayung in the 82nd minute of play. Daus Darwis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Budiarto in the 89th minute of the match. Yahya Sitepu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lelo Perangin-angin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yahya Sitepu in the 96th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lawangguru FC's zone, Alan Budiarto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daus Darwis came out of the goal and Alan Budiarto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The PSP Weltevreden supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lawangguru FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Lawangguru FC.
