Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Haryanto Simamora started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Wahyu Idris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dede Wibowo, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Dede Wibowo struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Wahyu Idris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PSS Rantau. 15 minutes into the match, PSS Rantau's Alan Dermawan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wahyu Idris narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18th minute Dede Wibowo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wahyu Idris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, PSS Rantau's Uum Kooth got control of the ball when Leonard Eiboy tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in PSS Rantau's zone, Haryanto Simamora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uum Kooth came out of the goal and Haryanto Simamora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35thth minute of the game Dede Wibowo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Muaratunan's Wahyu Idris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Haryanto Simamora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Haryanto Simamora got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Uum Kooth successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Uum Kooth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Haryanto Simamora went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dede Wibowo made a kick off. Uum Pane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute Haryanto Simamora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uum Kooth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute of the match Muaratunan got a corner. PSS Rantau's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jojo Alexander ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Muaratunan's Haryanto Simamora in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PSS Rantau's goalie prevented a goal. 68 minutes into the match, Muaratunan's Leonard Eiboy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uum Kooth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Uum Pane could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Wahyu Idris made a huge save. Dede Wibowo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wahyu Idris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Uum Kooth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Eiboy in the 88th minute of play. Uum Kooth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haryanto Simamora in the 92nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, PSS Rantau's Andre Sarwanto got a free kick in the 98th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
