When Haryanto Simamora came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Muaratunan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haryanto Simamora couldn't finish the play. Bulek Karo-karo hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. If Haryanto Simamora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robbie Perangin-angin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Wahyu Idris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darius Ramadhonna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Haryanto Simamora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Femi Simamora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Muaratunan's zone, Robbie Perangin-angin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wahyu Idris came out of the goal and Robbie Perangin-angin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haryanto Simamora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dian Yarman having to interfere. Femi Ramadhonna struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Dian Yarman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muaratunan. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Haryanto Simamora to strike the kick off in the second half. Soeramana's Dian Yarman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Soeramana from getting a goal against them. Wahyu Idris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robbie Perangin-angin in the 57th minute of the match. Femi Ramadhonna's late challenge caught a Soeramana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Femi Ramadhonna helped the player get up and apologised. Femi Ramadhonna hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joko Hans in the 59th minute of play forced Muaratunan's goalkeeper Wahyu Idris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robbie Perangin-angin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Wahyu Idris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Joko Hans, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 67 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Wahyu Idris was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Robbie Perangin-angin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Haryanto Simamora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Soeramana's Mario Arbi got a free kick in the 78th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haryanto Simamora in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dian Yarman saved Soeramana from getting behind. Dian Yarman made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Leonard Eiboy sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes into the game, Ari Simanungkalit was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Muaratunan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Soeramana the free kick. After a rather tough play, Muaratunan's Ari Simanungkalit got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 95 played minutes Soeramana got a freekick which was hit by Joko Arbi. Dian Yarman acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 96th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jojo Alexander. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
