In the 4th match minute, Cibentak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andi Muchtaji to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute of the match Jakob Sugendo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sigit Kooth skillfully saved the ball. Tono Wibowo hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Sigit Kooth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Budikusuma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Steve Budikusuma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sigit Kooth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Rabun Kusumah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rabun Kusumah stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cibentak fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! Joshua Romatua might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sigit Kooth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joshua Romatua ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of PSP Gupakan booed when Cibentak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andi Muchtaji didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Jakob Sugendo from long distance, 67 minutes into the match, got Sigit Kooth's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 69 minutes, Haryanto Panjaitan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PSP Gupakan and the Cibentak players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th match minute, PSP Gupakan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haryanto Panjaitan to maneuver through the defense. In the 72ndth minute of the game Rabun Kusumah who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PSP Gupakan's Joko Waluyo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sigit Kooth was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Yahya Fitriansyah showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 83 minute of play. After a rather tough play, PSP Gupakan's Djati Ginting got a free kick in the 99th minute. After a defensive mix-up in PSP Gupakan's zone, Robbie Kusumah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joko Waluyo came out of the goal and Robbie Kusumah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. PSP Gupakan had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
