The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pandapotan Tarigan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taufik Simanungkalit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruslan Pane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Saban FC booed when Ramoet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruslan Pane didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donnie Piliang struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Pandapotan Tarigan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ramoet. After a rather tough play, Saban FC's Porman Ginting got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Ruslan Pane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pandapotan Tarigan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruslan Pane's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Saban FC's zone, Ruslan Pane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pandapotan Tarigan came out of the goal and Ruslan Pane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yahya Febrian kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Porman Ginting during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Saban FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Porman Ginting to maneuver through the defense. Ruslan Pane's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pandapotan Tarigan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After 42 played minutes Saban FC got a freekick which was hit by Ari Sembiring. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruslan Pane to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Andre Arbi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Cecep Karo-karo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Donnie Piliang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Pandapotan Tarigan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, Ruslan Pane recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pandapotan Tarigan. Ruslan Pane showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donnie Piliang got free with Pandapotan Tarigan in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruslan Pane in the 67th minute of play forced Saban FC's goalkeeper Pandapotan Tarigan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saban FC's Pandapotan Tarigan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Saban FC from getting a goal against them. Pandapotan Tarigan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruslan Pane in the 71st minute of the match. In the 75th minute Ruslan Pane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pandapotan Tarigan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taufik Simanungkalit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pandapotan Tarigan having to interfere. Ruslan Pane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pandapotan Tarigan having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Ramoet's Ruslan Pane dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. The Saban FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ramoet were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
