When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Eboy Sinambela sped through FC.BARCELONA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Daus Budiarto. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC.BARCELONA's goalkeeper Daus Budiarto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Eboy Sinambela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daus Budiarto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eboy Sinambela showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 44 minute of play. In the 48th minute, Hendrawan Kaban made a precise shot to the right of Daus Budiarto. FC.BARCELONA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fadh Darwis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daus Budiarto prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
