The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Hardy Bangun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sipiongot Akmal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sipiongot Akmal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ichwan Tarigan, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Kompos Sinambela might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rio Barus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kompos Sinambela ran back to his position shaking his head. Rio Barus was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kompos Sinambela showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. In the 17th minute Hardy Bangun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sipiongot Akmal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sipiongot Akmal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hardy Bangun in the 19th minute of play. Kendayakan FC's Rio Barus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kompos Sinambela in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Damaputih FC booed when Kendayakan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elie Kusumah didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Elie Kusumah fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kendayakan FC's protests and gave Elie Kusumah a yellow card for diving instead. Kendayakan FC's Rio Barus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kompos Sinambela in the 36th minute of play. Rio Barus came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Damaputih FC's Kompos Sinambela. But to his dismay, Kompos Sinambela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Kompos Sinambela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rio Barus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Kendayakan FC's goalkeeper Rio Barus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Budi Ramadhonna. Rio Barus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Budi Ramadhonna in the 48th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kompos Sinambela made a kick off. Rio Barus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jatuh Pane in the 53rd minute of the match. Budi Ramadhonna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sipiongot Akmal came out and tried to block the shot, but Hardy Bangun slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 86th minute. In the 95th minute, Budi Ramadhonna made a precise shot to the right of Rio Barus. Kendayakan FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Damaputih FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
