After having played for 14 minutes, Zulfikar Guci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kophiang's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zulfikar Guci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yahya Akmal kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in PSP Fajaoel's zone, Zulfikar Guci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eboy Tarigan came out of the goal and Zulfikar Guci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adith Tarigan in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eboy Tarigan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eboy Tarigan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adith Tarigan, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Adith Tarigan struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Eboy Tarigan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kophiang. Eboy Tarigan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adith Tarigan in the 38th minute of play. If Nasum Ridliwan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Nasum Sinulingga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute of the match Daus Kaban sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eboy Tarigan skillfully saved the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Adith Tarigan made the kick off in the second half. Kophiang's Adith Tarigan suffered a sprained foot after 53 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Hardy Romatua's late challenge caught a Kophiang's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hardy Romatua helped the player get up and apologised. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for PSP Fajaoel! The goalkeeper, Eboy Tarigan, was totally fooled by Kophiang's Daus Kaban, who 56 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 66 minutes into the match, Kophiang's goal looked a bit too open when Fery Romatua came free, but Jakob Sitepu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daus Kaban kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Dian Darwis struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Jakob Sitepu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PSP Fajaoel. Fery Romatua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakob Sitepu having to interfere. Zulfikar Guci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eboy Tarigan having to interfere. The Kophiang players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented PSP Fajaoel from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
