Tiar Akmal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adith Sarwanto having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Tiar Akmal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Senayang FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiar Akmal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Senayang FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Adith Dewa hit a great ball. When PSM Kebonkai's Zulfikar Perangin-angin in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Dian Ramadhonna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adith Sarwanto was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. After 26 minutes, Dian Simanungkalit mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PSM Kebonkai and the Senayang FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in PSM Kebonkai's zone, Dian Ramadhonna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adith Sarwanto came out of the goal and Dian Ramadhonna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dian Ramadhonna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute of the match, Zulfikri Alexander got a very nice opportunity to score, but Romi Idris was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With his leg Romi Idris managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when PSM Kebonkai's Zulfikri Alexander fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mario Putiray during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zulfikar Perangin-angin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Romi Idris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zulfikri Alexander was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 46th minute. PSM Kebonkai's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Zulfikar Perangin-angin managed to get in a good position for a shot. PSM Kebonkai's supporters rose to their feet, but Zulfikar Perangin-angin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romi Idris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dian Ramadhonna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adith Sarwanto made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Tiar Akmal sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dian Ramadhonna in the 57th minute of play forced PSM Kebonkai's goalkeeper Adith Sarwanto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Tiar Akmal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Adith Sarwanto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 62 minutes, Tiar Akmal made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. PSM Kebonkai's Adith Sarwanto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 68th minute Zulfikar Perangin-angin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romi Idris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tiar Akmal came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Senayang FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiar Akmal couldn't finish the play. After 72 played minutes PSM Kebonkai got a freekick which was hit by Dian Simanungkalit. PSM Kebonkai's Adith Sarwanto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save PSM Kebonkai from getting a goal against them. Romi Idris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zulfikri Alexander in the 82nd minute of play. After 83 played minutes Senayang FC got a freekick which was hit by Adith Dewa. Zulfikar Perangin-angin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute.
