After a rather tough play, Kianlaut FC's Hastomo Martin got a free kick in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Kianlaut FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Piliang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rabun Ginting. Taufik Guci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the game, Jatuh Wibowo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Pandapotan Tarigan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Reynaldo Piliang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taufik Guci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Kesikan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jatuh Wibowo came free, but Pandapotan Tarigan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rabun Ginting struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Reynaldo Piliang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kesikan FC. Taufik Guci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Uum Haryanto-Ie fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kianlaut FC's protests and gave Uum Haryanto-Ie a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Kianlaut FC's Uum Haryanto-Ie got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Rabun Pane charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rabun Pane the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kianlaut FC! The goalkeeper, Reynaldo Piliang, was totally fooled by Kesikan FC's Heri Guchi, who 36 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jatuh Wibowo in the 43rd minute of play forced Kesikan FC's goalkeeper Pandapotan Tarigan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Kianlaut FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Zulfikar Panjaitan hit a great ball. Reynaldo Piliang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taufik Guci in the 47th minute of play. After 47 played minutes Kianlaut FC got a freekick which was hit by Hastomo Martin. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jatuh Wibowo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Kianlaut FC's Pandapotan Tarigan threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jatuh Wibowo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Widodo Mainaky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Pandapotan Tarigan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Taufik Guci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. The supporters of Kianlaut FC booed when Kesikan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fery Panjaitan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rabun Ginting recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Kesikan FC's Pandapotan Tarigan got control of the ball when Widodo Mainaky tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Kesikan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pandapotan Reza to maneuver through the defense. If Widodo Mainaky had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pandapotan Tarigan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jatuh Wibowo in the 79th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Uum Haryanto-Ie took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Pandapotan Tarigan to make any attempt to save it. Jatuh Wibowo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rabun Ginting struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Reynaldo Piliang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kesikan FC. If Rabun Ginting had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Sembiring took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Reynaldo Piliang. Kianlaut FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
