The supporters of Lamasie FC booed when Puntjakkere FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiar Wibowo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hardy Waluyo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute, Bulek Sinambela reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alan Barus. The goal made the score 1-0. Uum Perangin-angin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Elie Cahyono Putro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute of the match Budi Haryanto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alan Barus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lamasie FC's Elie Cahyono Putro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taufik Dermawan in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uum Perangin-angin in the 26th minute of play forced Lamasie FC's goalkeeper Elie Cahyono Putro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Budi Haryanto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Taufik Dermawan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elie Cahyono Putro was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Uum Perangin-angin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elie Cahyono Putro having to interfere. Puntjakkere FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lamasie FC the free kick. In the 49th match minute, Puntjakkere FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lelo Pane to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bulek Sinambela made a kick off. A hard shot 57 in the game by Taufik Dermawan from a close distance when the talented Elie Cahyono Putro managed to make a qualified save. Lamasie FC's players were relieved. Taufik Dermawan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elie Cahyono Putro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Puntjakkere FC's Uum Perangin-angin got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Puntjakkere FC's Taufik Sitepu got a free kick in the 70th minute. Mulyana Kooth tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Alan Barus. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-0 in the 72nd minute. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Uum Perangin-angin took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Elie Cahyono Putro to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Puntjakkere FC's zone, Hardy Waluyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alan Barus came out of the goal and Hardy Waluyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute, Bulek Sinambela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Taufik Dermawan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Elie Cahyono Putro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
