When Mahadi Darwis fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aroeko FC's protests and gave Mahadi Darwis a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Aroeko FC got a freekick which was hit by Mahadi Darwis. Gendo Kaban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bulsky Prima in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After a rather tough play, Aroeko FC's Dian Simanungkalit got a free kick in the 51st minute. Bulsky Prima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Gendo Kaban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bulsky Prima might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gendo Kaban. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bulsky Prima ran back to his position shaking his head. Aroeko FC's Gendo Kaban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hardy Fitriansyah in the 80th minute of play. If Bulsky Prima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
