In the 5thth minute of the game Andra Sembiring who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rancaherang FC's Cecep Sitorus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Rexy Putiray cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Dede Ketaren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 9 played minutes Rancaherang FC got a freekick which was hit by Ichwan Dermawan. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eboy Tarigan during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 11 played minutes Rancaherang FC got a freekick which was hit by Eboy Tarigan. Jatuh Sembiring's late challenge caught a Rancaherang FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jatuh Sembiring helped the player get up and apologised. After 13 played minutes PSP Galesong got a freekick which was hit by Jatuh Sembiring. Dede Ketaren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gendo Dewa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Andra Sembiring's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cecep Sitorus was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Andra Sembiring scored 1-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cecep Sitorus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Mulyana Hans managed to get in a good position for a shot. PSP Galesong's supporters rose to their feet, but Mulyana Hans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cecep Sitorus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rexy Putiray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dede Ketaren having to interfere. After a rather tough play, PSP Galesong's Jatuh Sembiring got a free kick in the 35th minute. 44 minutes in the game, Gendo Dewa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dede Ketaren having to interfere. When Mulyana Hans came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the PSP Galesong fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mulyana Hans couldn't finish the play. Mulyana Hans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gendo Dewa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gendo Dewa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dede Ketaren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eboy Tarigan in the 64th minute of play. Eboy Tarigan got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Andra Sembiring managed to get in a good position for a shot. PSP Galesong's supporters rose to their feet, but Andra Sembiring was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cecep Sitorus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute, Andra Sembiring ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cecep Sitorus was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Mulyana Hans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Cecep Sitorus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of PSP Galesong booed when Rancaherang FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gendo Dewa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mulyana Hans in the 83rd minute of play forced Rancaherang FC's goalkeeper Cecep Sitorus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dede Ketaren came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Rancaherang FC's Rexy Putiray. But to his dismay, Rexy Putiray quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Andra Sembiring received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Cecep Sitorus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 98 minutes, Mulyana Hans made it 3-4 with a short kick to the right side. Rancaherang FC's Cecep Sitorus tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. PSP Galesong walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
