Bulsky Tarigan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Alan Wijaya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nasum Budiarto in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in PSM Lampin's zone, Hendrawan Rai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jakob Budiarto came out of the goal and Hendrawan Rai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Semoeda FC booed when PSM Lampin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bulsky Tarigan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Porman Alexander struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Jakob Budiarto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Semoeda FC. A collision led to PSM Lampin getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Mahadi Mulia hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Porman Alexander made a precise shot to the right of Jakob Budiarto. PSM Lampin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Semoeda FC's Rochy Sitorus got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Rochy Sitorus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Semoeda FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rochy Sitorus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jakob Budiarto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Nasum Budiarto came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the PSM Lampin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nasum Budiarto couldn't finish the play. Nasum Budiarto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alan Wijaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 72nd match minute, Semoeda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boy Panjaitan to maneuver through the defense. Boy Panjaitan hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Rochy Sitorus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Semoeda FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rochy Sitorus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. PSM Lampin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jojo Cahyono Putro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jojo Cahyono Putro in the 88th minute of play forced Semoeda FC's goalkeeper Alan Wijaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Candra Kusumah kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Rochy Sitorus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
