Fadhly Waluyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hendrawan Haryanto-Ie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dian Fitriansyah, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Fadhly Waluyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Hendrawan Haryanto-Ie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of PSS Jeunieb booed when Lemper was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yahya Sitorus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romi Simanungkalit, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Dian Fitriansyah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 30th minute, Tiar Alexander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lemper fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Tiar Alexander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Nasum Kusumah made a huge save. Tiar Alexander might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nasum Kusumah. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiar Alexander ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romi Sitorus made a kick off. Dian Fitriansyah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hendrawan Haryanto-Ie having to interfere. In the 66th minute, PSS Jeunieb's Fadhly Waluyo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hendrawan Haryanto-Ie. Hendrawan Haryanto-Ie yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. After 69 minutes, Romi Simanungkalit mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PSS Jeunieb and the Lemper players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fadhly Waluyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hendrawan Haryanto-Ie having to interfere. Nasum Kusumah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiar Alexander in the 83rd minute of play. If Romi Sitorus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Widodo Waluyo kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Tiar Alexander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98th minute Romi Sitorus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nasum Kusumah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Lemper were victorious despite being under pressure from PSS Jeunieb for much of the match.
