In the 7th minute Romi Sitorus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dian Idris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, PSP Singanaik's Lelo Sinulingga broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Tiar Alexander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dian Idris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romi Sitorus in the 18th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes Lemper got a freekick which was hit by Gendo Simanungkalit. Hendrawan Haryanto-Ie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zulfikri Priyatno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, PSP Singanaik's Zulfikri Priyatno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hendrawan Haryanto-Ie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Gendo Akmal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The penalty shot was made by Lelo Sinulingga, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lemper's Hendrawan Haryanto-Ie. 1-3.

The wind increased when Romi Sitorus made the kick off in the second half. When Zulfikri Priyatno came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the PSP Singanaik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zulfikri Priyatno couldn't finish the play. After 58 played minutes Lemper got a freekick which was hit by Yahya Sitorus. Dian Idris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romi Sitorus in the 62nd minute of the match. If Romi Sitorus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lemper's Tiar Alexander in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PSP Singanaik's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Lemper booed when PSP Singanaik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gendo Akmal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th match minute, Lemper was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romi Sitorus to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Lemper's zone, Porman Alexander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hendrawan Haryanto-Ie came out of the goal and Porman Alexander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Lemper's Romi Sitorus in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PSP Singanaik's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romi Sitorus in the 81st minute of play forced PSP Singanaik's goalkeeper Dian Idris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yahya Sitorus's late challenge caught a PSP Singanaik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yahya Sitorus helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 played minutes Lemper got a freekick which was hit by Yahya Sitorus. In the 95th minute, Candra Waluyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The PSP Singanaik supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing PSP Singanaik would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
