Darius Guchi hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Hendrawan Haryanto made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Ricky Waluyo sent off a good shot on target. Ricky Waluyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Hendrawan Haryanto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Dede Yarman fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 17th minute, Baunakan's Heri Dewa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hendrawan Haryanto. Hendrawan Haryanto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Ricky Waluyo in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hendrawan Haryanto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Waeken's Hendrawan Haryanto got control of the ball when Ricky Waluyo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Hardy Karo-karo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Hardy Karo-karo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Simanungkalit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Waeken booed when Baunakan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andre Oktavianus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hendrawan Haryanto made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Ricky Waluyo sent off a good shot on target. If Hardy Karo-karo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hardy Karo-karo to strike the kick off in the second half. Rabun Barus kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Uum Sipayung in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Martin Simanungkalit, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Heri Dewa's late challenge caught a Waeken's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Heri Dewa helped the player get up and apologised. Heri Dewa kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When Ricky Waluyo came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Baunakan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricky Waluyo couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd match minute, Waeken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mahadi Reza to maneuver through the defense. After 64 played minutes Baunakan got a freekick which was hit by Eboy Reza. After some careless play in the Baunakan defense, Hardy Karo-karo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Simanungkalit. The Baunakan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Simanungkalit should have stopped the shot. Hardy Karo-karo struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Martin Simanungkalit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Waeken. If Iswadi Eiboy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute, Paijo Idris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Mahadi Reza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Waeken's supporters rose to their feet, but Mahadi Reza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Simanungkalit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute Dede Yarman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hendrawan Haryanto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uum Sipayung received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Martin Simanungkalit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricky Waluyo in the 87th minute of play forced Waeken's goalkeeper Hendrawan Haryanto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baunakan's Martin Simanungkalit proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Baunakan from getting a goal against them. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
