Putu Febrian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gendo Reza in the 23rd minute. Torete's Putu Febrian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Budi Kusumah in the 25th minute of play. Candra Sinuraya might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jakob Sitorus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Candra Sinuraya ran back to his position shaking his head. Kia Karo-karo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Tiar Sipayung's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jakob Sitorus was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Joko Haryanto's late challenge caught a Torete's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joko Haryanto helped the player get up and apologised. Tiar Sipayung might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jakob Sitorus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiar Sipayung ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Candra Sinuraya in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jakob Sitorus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Torete's Mario Wibowo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Putu Febrian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gendo Reza in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Candra Sinuraya fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jakob Sitorus, passed just outside the right post. In the 81st minute Candra Sinuraya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakob Sitorus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Torete's goal looked a bit too open when Budi Kusumah came free, but Putu Febrian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiar Sipayung fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakob Sitorus having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
