Haryanto Akmal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heri Ie having to interfere. In the 19th minute Andra Cahyono Putro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paijo Eiboy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haryanto Akmal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heri Ie having to interfere. With a little luck, PSM Kerteg's Heri Ie got control of the ball when Haryanto Akmal tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Widodo Hans put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Paijo Eiboy. PSM Kerteg's Widodo Hans got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, PSM Kerteg's goalkeeper Heri Ie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haryanto Akmal. 36 minutes into the match, PSP Ongkau's Haryanto Akmal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Heri Ie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Hendrawan Kaban fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PSM Kerteg's protests and gave Hendrawan Kaban a yellow card for diving instead. Hendrawan Kaban hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Heri Ie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donny Ginting in the 40th minute of the match. PSP Ongkau's Haryanto Akmal got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Haryanto Akmal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Andra Cahyono Putro came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the PSM Kerteg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andra Cahyono Putro couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donny Ginting stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donny Ginting in the 52nd minute of play forced PSM Kerteg's goalkeeper Heri Ie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Haryanto Akmal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joshua Dermawan charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joshua Dermawan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joshua Dermawan hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 64 played minutes PSP Ongkau got a freekick which was hit by Ricky Reza. PSM Kerteg's Henry Muchtaji couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 65th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for PSP Ongkau. Eboy Kusumah hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Sigit Sembiring got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donny Ginting fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heri Ie having to interfere. Heri Ie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haryanto Akmal in the 89th minute of the match. Donny Ginting charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donny Ginting the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Widodo Hans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Ricky Reza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. PSM Kerteg had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
