Eboy Sinuhaji hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. When Bulek Haryanto-Ie came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Beringin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bulek Haryanto-Ie couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Jakob Budikusuma managed to get in a good position for a shot. PSM Siweli's supporters rose to their feet, but Jakob Budikusuma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Sinambela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Beringin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bulek Haryanto-Ie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Beringin FC booed when PSM Siweli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eboy Sinuhaji didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beringin FC were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after PSM Siweli's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Andre Pane took the corner. After having played for 45 minutes, Bulek Haryanto-Ie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mario Sinambela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakob Budikusuma in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Budikusuma in the 53rd minute of play forced Beringin FC's goalkeeper Mario Sinambela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Sinambela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakob Budikusuma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th match minute, Beringin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Mulia to maneuver through the defense. After 86 minutes, Wahyu Sinambela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PSM Siweli and the Beringin FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute, Wahyu Sinambela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Djati Sinuraya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joko Mainaky showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Djati Sinuraya in the 91st minute of the match. Jakob Budikusuma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Mario Sinambela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fery Putiray hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Donnie Alexander, 98 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
