Penagi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andra Rai ran over to the corner to take the kick. Uum Ridliwan struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Rio Dewa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Penagi. In the 18th minute, Ari Darwis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Candra Darwis notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Loetoer's Rio Dewa. Rio Dewa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ferry Akmal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Kia Mulia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kia Sinambela in the 47th minute of play forced Penagi's goalkeeper Kia Mulia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kia Sinambela made a kick off. Rio Dewa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candra Darwis, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. A hard shot 71 in the game by Uum Ridliwan from a close distance when the talented Rio Dewa managed to make a qualified save. Loetoer's players were relieved. Nasum Alexander kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Kia Sinambela scored 1-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kia Mulia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kia Sinambela might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kia Mulia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kia Sinambela ran back to his position shaking his head. Ferry Akmal scored 2-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kia Mulia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Penagi players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Loetoer.
