Gongsola's Kitam Sembiring played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heri Rai in the 3rd minute of play. The supporters of Rumahakai FC booed when Gongsola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eboy Wibowo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gongsola's Eboy Wibowo got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eboy Wibowo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Ketaren having to interfere. Eboy Wibowo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Martin Ketaren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Ketaren made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Eboy Wibowo sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Martin Ketaren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Heri Rai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kitam Sembiring showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elie Mainaky in the 29th minute of the match. Elie Mainaky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Kitam Sembiring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elie Mainaky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kitam Sembiring having to interfere. In the 37th minute Jojo Akmal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Ketaren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jojo Akmal came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Gongsola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jojo Akmal couldn't finish the play. Elie Mainaky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Kitam Sembiring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elie Mainaky in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kitam Sembiring saved Gongsola from getting behind. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elie Mainaky was the one to do the kick off. Elie Mainaky hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Heri Rai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kitam Sembiring read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. When Andi Febrian fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gongsola's protests and gave Andi Febrian a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, Andi Febrian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elie Mainaky might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kitam Sembiring. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elie Mainaky ran back to his position shaking his head. 70 minutes into the match, Gongsola's goalkeeper Kitam Sembiring had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Heri Rai. Elie Mainaky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kitam Sembiring having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gongsola's Haryanto Tarigan got a free kick in the 74th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Heri Rai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rumahakai FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Heri Rai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kitam Sembiring breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jojo Akmal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the game, Jatuh Idris was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rumahakai FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gongsola the free kick. In the 88th minute, Eboy Wibowo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elie Mainaky sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, Rumahakai FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jojo Akmal came free, but Martin Ketaren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Rumahakai FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Gongsola from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
