The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of PSP Tjikadal booed when Tegallopang FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fadh Budikusuma didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Bento Karo-karo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daus Mulia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Putu Febrian. Tegallopang FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Haikal Panjaitan kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Rochy Idris was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hastomo Akmal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Hastomo Akmal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tegallopang FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hastomo Akmal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rochy Idris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Hastomo Akmal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. Putu Febrian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Karo-karo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the game, PSP Tjikadal's Putu Ketaren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Putu Febrian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With a little luck, PSP Tjikadal's Rochy Idris got control of the ball when Pandapotan Prima tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hastomo Akmal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Rochy Idris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Cecep Arbi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PSP Tjikadal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tegallopang FC the free kick. A collision led to PSP Tjikadal getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Cecep Arbi hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Rochy Kusumah was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 57th match minute, PSP Tjikadal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daus Mulia to maneuver through the defense. Pandapotan Prima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Pandapotan Prima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. PSP Tjikadal's Rochy Idris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hastomo Akmal in the 68th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in PSP Tjikadal's zone, Pandapotan Prima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rochy Idris came out of the goal and Pandapotan Prima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the PSP Tjikadal defense, Hastomo Akmal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rochy Idris. The PSP Tjikadal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rochy Idris should have stopped the shot. In the 88th minute, Bento Karo-karo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hastomo Akmal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rochy Idris having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, PSP Tjikadal's goal looked a bit too open when Pandapotan Prima came free, but Rochy Idris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 98th minute, Pandapotan Prima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tegallopang FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the PSP Tjikadal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tegallopang FC.
