Romi Sinambela made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Widodo Oktavianus sent off a good shot on target. 18 minutes into the game, Henry Budikusuma was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sangiran's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tajug FC the free kick. After 18 played minutes Sangiran got a freekick which was hit by Henry Budikusuma. 22 minutes into the match, Sangiran's Henry Budikusuma sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donny Sinambela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Tajug FC's Widodo Oktavianus slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Romi Sinambela. That made the score 1-0 after 26 minutes of play. Hardy Mulia's late challenge caught a Tajug FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hardy Mulia helped the player get up and apologised. Hardy Mulia hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Tajug FC's Ichwan Kaban tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Uum Guchi was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Uum Guchi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romi Sinambela was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Budikusuma in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donny Sinambela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henry Budikusuma blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donny Sinambela having to make a save. After having played for 67 minutes, Widodo Oktavianus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tajug FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Widodo Oktavianus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 71 minutes into the game, Sangiran's Gendo Yarman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donny Sinambela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Uum Guchi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Hardy Mulia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, Sangiran's goal looked a bit too open when Widodo Oktavianus came free, but Romi Sinambela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Tajug FC booed when Sangiran was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiar Kooth didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tajug FC's zone, Henry Budikusuma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donny Sinambela came out of the goal and Henry Budikusuma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uum Guchi scored 3-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romi Sinambela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tajug FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sangiran for a fine match.
