The tension between the Pondokdalem FC and the Pekotaan FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Pondokdalem FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. A wasted opportunity for Pondokdalem FC. Pekotaan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andra Sinambela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andra Sinambela was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 63 minutes, Donnie Alexander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pekotaan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donnie Alexander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donnie Alexander had several of the Pondokdalem FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 72 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Yahya Akmal as he didn't even see the shot coming. 77 minutes into the match, Budi Sembiring had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ichwan Akmal. Pekotaan FC's Ichwan Akmal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Budi Sembiring in the 93rd minute of play. Budi Sembiring recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ichwan Akmal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Budi Sembiring in the 97th minute of play. Pekotaan FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
