The audience thought a goal was coming when Robbie Simanungkalit got free with Andre Akmal in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Kualatapung's Haryanto Eiboy got a free kick in the 24th minute. Elie Budiarto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eboy Sugendo in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mulyana Suprianto saved Gantar from getting behind. Mulyana Suprianto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eboy Sugendo in the 29th minute of the match. Eboy Sugendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andre Akmal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elie Budiarto in the 33rd minute of play. Robbie Simanungkalit struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Robbie Simanungkalit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andre Akmal having to interfere. The Gantar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kualatapung were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elie Budiarto to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Robbie Simanungkalit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gantar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robbie Simanungkalit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donnie Mainaky kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Robbie Simanungkalit struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. The referee ignored Kualatapung's protests and gave Hastomo Ridliwan a yellow card for diving instead. Bento Yarman, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of Kualatapung were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Gantar side.
