Martin Martin had in the 7thth minute some difficulties stopping Heri Arbi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, Kayuwaru FC's Jojo Febrian got a free kick in the 8th minute. Martin Martin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hardy Tarigan, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When Kompos Mulia fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kayuwaru FC's protests and gave Kompos Mulia a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes Kayuwaru FC got a freekick which was hit by Kompos Mulia. Mahadi Muchtaji received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Martin Martin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute Donny Guci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yahya Sipayung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Martin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hardy Tarigan in the 24th minute of play. Mahadi Muchtaji sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Martin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Martin Martin managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Balah's Mahadi Muchtaji fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kayuwaru FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
