Hendrawan Ramadhonna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Hardy Hans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donny Guci received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hardy Hans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donny Guci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Heri Priyatno might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Martin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heri Priyatno ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th minute, Haryanto Simanungkalit made a precise shot to the right of Martin Martin. Kayuwaru FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferry Sembiring in the 32nd minute of play forced Kayuwaru FC's goalkeeper Martin Martin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Martin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heri Priyatno in the 33rd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Kayuwaru FC had won after a very even match.
