When Sioban FC's Elie Hans in 3 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. After 11 played minutes Sioban FC got a freekick which was hit by Zulfikri Budikusuma. Ari Dewa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zulfikri Budikusuma, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Zulfikri Budikusuma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ari Dewa having to interfere. Zulfikri Budikusuma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ari Dewa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fadhly Piliang came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Bitunuris fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fadhly Piliang couldn't finish the play. Sigit Budiarto's late challenge caught a Bitunuris's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sigit Budiarto helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sioban FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Sigit Budiarto hit a great ball. Bitunuris's Ichwan Bangun got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zulfikri Budikusuma was the one to do the kick off. Zulfikri Budikusuma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ari Dewa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Bitunuris booed when Sioban FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paijo Febrian didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 98th minute, Zulfikri Budikusuma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
