Rexy Tarigan's late challenge caught a Geuteng's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rexy Tarigan helped the player get up and apologised. Rexy Tarigan hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Tiar Ie sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and PSS Cigading's Ferry Priyatno didn't even have to move. If Bento Sinambela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dian Eiboy hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Jakob Oktavianus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferry Priyatno having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, PSS Cigading's goalkeeper Ferry Priyatno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bento Sinambela. Jatuh Subagdja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Candra Priyatno's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Ferry Priyatno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bento Sinambela in the 31st minute. Kia Simamora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jatuh Subagdja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kia Simamora's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Geuteng's zone, Kia Simamora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jatuh Subagdja came out of the goal and Kia Simamora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Candra Priyatno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jatuh Subagdja having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Oktavianus in the 43rd minute of play forced PSS Cigading's goalkeeper Ferry Priyatno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Taufik Sinulingga fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PSS Cigading's protests and gave Taufik Sinulingga a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Geuteng booed when PSS Cigading was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taufik Sinulingga didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jakob Oktavianus to strike the kick off in the second half. Ferry Priyatno didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Geuteng's Jakob Oktavianus shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 56th minute, Kia Simamora reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jatuh Subagdja. The goal made the score 1-1. If Kia Simamora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kia Simamora during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th minute, Kia Simamora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bento Sinambela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ferry Priyatno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the PSS Cigading defense, Bento Sinambela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferry Priyatno. The PSS Cigading fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferry Priyatno should have stopped the shot. Candra Priyatno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jatuh Subagdja having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Candra Priyatno got free with Jatuh Subagdja in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Geuteng were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of PSS Cigading for a fine match.
